Our Artist is a British folk pop singer, he would be signed to Clubhouse records as they are a small UK based label who sign only folk artists, our artist would fit perfectly with the other acts that are already signed to their label such as Troubadour rose and Leeroy Stagger. He would be signed to a small independent label and not a conglomerate since the folk genre is not very mainstream and therefore conglomerates such as Sony BMG would be unlikely to sign him. He would also be signed to an independent label to allow for more creative freedom, so instead of having to cater to the public's taste our artist would be able to make the kind of music he wants.
